At first project partner meeting were participating representatives of all cooperation organizations – National Botanic Garden in Salaspils, Tartu University Botanic Garden, Environmental Development Association and Society of friends of Tartu University Botanic Garden.

Project is implemented within Estonia- Latvia cross border cooperation programme.
During the meeting, project manager of NBG gave a brief description of the project and activities of each work package, as well as introduced time schedule for first project milestone. During the discussions changes in the time schedule were made and time deadline for activities were approved, as well as each partners tasks till next partner meeting.

Overall the project meeting was held in creative spirit, because one of the meeting’s agenda was to discus project web-page design and its functions, as well as begin work with project brochures.
Next project “SmartGardens” meeting is planning to organize in April, when Latvian partners will go to Tartu and discuss completed tasks and indentify future tasks and deadlines.
