In this project Environmental Development Association cooperates with Baltic Energy forum as well as partners from other countries – Sweden, Germany, Norway, Finland, Lithuania and Estonia.
In order to achieve the goal, we must adapt port infrastructure for clean shipping in Baltic Sea, therefore there are discussions about new technology usage, new types of fuel (especially emphasising usage of LNG), about differentiated tariff policy in the ports and big importance has been given to shore-side electricity use (cold ironing).
Environmental Development Association analyze liquefied natural gas (LNG) and onshore power supply use in ports.
